Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation, a national leader in integrated healthcare services, is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy (OT) Team Lead to oversee our team of dedicated therapists in our rehabilitation hospitals. This vital role is focused on enhancing patient care by providing expert therapy services and leading a team in the development and implementation of patient treatments. The successful applicant will ensure consistency and quality of care across the board, contributing to our holistic, team-oriented approach towards recovery and health. Supervise and lead the occupational therapy team Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients Monitor and ensure the quality of therapy services provided Train and mentor new hires and existing staff on latest therapy techniques Manage patient care logistics, including scheduling and resource allocation Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care Evaluate team performance and provide performance feedback Strong leadership skills Expertise in occupational therapy techniques and patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to train and mentor staff Experience in resource management and scheduling Adept at developing treatment plans and managing patient care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current and unrestricted occupational therapy license NBCOT certification preferred but not required
