Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
team on an on-call basis. In this critical role, you will be
responsible for providing exceptional post-operative care to
patients recovering from anesthesia. As a PACU RN at HCA
Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic

Monitor patients for changes in status and indications of
conditions such as sepsis or shock and institute appropriate
interventions. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate post-operative
patients according to the ASPAN standards. Administer medications
and treatments according to hospital policy. Provide immediate
post-operative care following surgical procedures. Record,
interpret, and report vital signs, symptoms, and changes in
patients' conditions. Collaborate with surgeons and
anesthesiologists to determine post-operative care. Educate
patients and their families on post-surgery home care needs, health
maintenance, and management of potential post-operative
complications. Strong clinical skills in a PACU or critical care
setting Excellent judgment and ability to prioritize interventions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of
effectively explaining procedures and care plans to patients and
family members Proficiency in using healthcare software and patient

in the state of practice Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred
