Practice Details

NICU Environment

• 92-bed Level IV NICU (high-acuity regional referral center)
• Coastal Georgia neonatal referral hub
• Advanced NICU technology and resources
• Strong physician and APP collaborative culture

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide advanced neonatal care for critically ill and premature infants
• Work collaboratively with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in neonatal care planning and family-centered care
• Support regional neonatal referral services
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards
• Participate in quality and professional development initiatives

Team Structure

• 9 Neonatologists
• 8 full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
• Pediatric subspecialty collaboration
• Resident rotations through NICU (academic exposure)

Work Environment
