Job Description:

The Acute Cardiac Clinical Nurse Coordinator at HCA Healthcare plays a pivotal role in providing expert care in high-stakes environments. Focused on acute cardiac care, this role is crucial in managing patient care, ensuring adherence to the latest evidence-based practices, and coordinating between multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The coordinator will also engage in patient education, staff development, and the implementation of health interventions. Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients. Lead a team of nursing staff in delivering complex acute cardiac care. Coordinate tests, assessments, and management plans for patients. Educate patients and their families on heart health and post-hospital care. Implement new methods and technologies for improving patient outcomes. Liaise with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) Patient assessment Leadership and management Training and mentoring Emergency responsiveness Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification in cardiovascular nursing (e.g., CCRN) preferred
