Job Description:
Job Description Lex Communicate is seeking a passionate,
independent and neurodiversity-affirming clinician to join our
innovative team. We are looking for a flexible and engaging mental
health therapist (LCP, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC), for a part-time
role with flexibility to grow to full-time. The ideal candidate is
collaborative, eager to learn, self-motivated and looking for
opportunities to provide strengths-based supports to individuals
ages 5-adult and their families in the context of individual or
small group sessions. We are a unique, fun private practice
specializing in social cognitive communication and executive
functioning and dedicated to supporting both our clinicians and
clients in thriving. One of our core goals is to create an

they can bring their best selves to Lex Communicate every day.
Responsibilities include: · Deliver client-centered,
strengths-based therapy services in individual and small group
sessions for children through adults and support to their families
· Familiarity with and adherence to paradigms of
neurodiversity-affirming care; ensure clients’ confidentiality,
dignity, and safety at all times · Ability to self-assess learning
needs, strengths, and professional goals and pursue necessary
professional development · Maintain variable work schedule
depending on clinic/program needs to provide patient care; some
evenings are required · Highly developed communication and
interpersonal skills, working effectively and compassionately with
diverse population and team · Work independently, be self-directed
and contribute as a member of a team. · Support Lex Communicate’s
mission and vision by contributing to creation of innovative
approaches, materials, and programs, and through participation in
development and outreach initiatives · Produce documentation that
is thorough, timely, accurate and HIPAA compliant · Collaborate
with other clinicians, families, and outside providers/schools as
is in the best interest of your clients · Maintain professional
licensure and adhere to all professional practice standards
Education & Credentialing Requirements: · Master’s degree from an
accredited mental health/counseling program · Current and valid
licensure to practice independently in Massachusetts · At least 2
years of experience working in your clinical field · Experience
with neurodivergent children and teens of various profiles ·
Ability to implement play-based, cognitive-behavioral and other
supportive modalities as appropriate to the individual ·
Familiarity with DBT principles · Demonstrated commitment to
neurodiversity-affirming best practices or a beginning commitment
and willingness to learn.
