Registered Nurse (RN) | Hospice Location: Charleston, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,234 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Hospice RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29414! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Hospice Duration: 3 months Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year Hospice experience depending on the specialty. License: Must have a valid nursing license. Certifications: CPR, BLS. Must-Have: Recent specialty experience. Description: Provides coordination and direction for home nursing care based on physician's orders. Care is provided according to agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process. Responsible for supervising and evaluating Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Home visits are required, along with periodic office meetings. Must have reliable transportation and a current driver's license. Agency-required liability insurance is also necessary. The average number of patients per day is 5-8. Workload is structured with a point system where different visits and activities have varying point values. Specific tasks include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. Weekend requirements vary according to location and profession. Traveling up to 75 miles from the home clinic is mandatory. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Candidates from the local area are accepted at the same rate. Must be proficient with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and have used it within the last 6 months. RNs are also required to be proficient in OASIS. The contract assignment is for a period of 3 months. Participants will engage in interdisciplinary support and may have to cover various patient diagnoses. Travel expectations are approximately 150 miles per week, with productivity expectations between 20-25 units weekly.
