Job Summary and Qualifications: The PICU Registered Nurse (RN) works in collaboration with other members of the health care team to protect, promote andoptimizehealth and ability, prevent illness and injury, alleviate suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocate in the care of individuals and families. The PICU Registered Nurse incorporates creative factors from Watson’s theory into his/her practice. .Complies withthe Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non-compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms. What qualifications you will need: - Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date - Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date - Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date - Pedi Care After Resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date - (RN) Registered Nurse - Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree Memorial Health University Medical Center has provided quality healthcare services since 1955, giving patients access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology.
