ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Critical Care Peds Float Pool Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week • Every other weekend required with holiday rotation • Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3 • Float to all pediatric units in SJCH including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU • 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience required • South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required • Required certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only) • ECMO and CRRT experience preferred • Must be comfortable with pediatric critical care skills including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care, PICC line management, anti-seizure medications, continuous sedation, IV vasopressors, pediatric dosage calculations, ICP monitoring, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, airway management, and arterial blood gas interpretation • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • All employees and contractors assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) • Must complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start • RTO must be submitted at time of application Facility: This healthcare facility features a dedicated children's hospital with specialized pediatric critical care units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU.
