Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Charleston, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,038 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiation Oncology RN - Outpatient Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 2-3 years in oncology nursing License: State or multi-state compact RN license required Certifications: BLS required; Chemo Certification or similar preferred Must-Have: Experience with Epic; outpatient clinic experience highly preferred Description: The position is for a Radiation Oncology RN in an outpatient setting. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30. Weekend coverage is not required. No on-call duties are expected. The traveler may need to float between similar units as necessary. The main area of focus will be at one facility, which has the highest need. All candidates should have experience in oncology and outpatient settings. First-time travelers may be considered, provided they meet other criteria. The candidate must possess a BLS certification and provide a radiation badge. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis, with a potential reduction in experience rate. It is essential to include any request for time off at the time of submission, as changes will not be accepted afterward. Travelers should be aware of the hurricane season, as employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. The hurricane season runs from June through November, with the peak months being August and September. Candidates must be prepared for potential emergency response duties during this period. All travelers should have their South Carolina nursing license active or ensure they can complete the licensure process in a timely manner.
