Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking an experienced SLP Therapy Team Leader for our comprehensive network. This role involves directing a team of speech-language pathologists in both facility-based and home-based settings, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and adherence to all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will oversee patient care activities, coordinate therapies, and mentor staff, focused on enhancing patient functional outcomes and improving speech and language disorders. Lead and manage a team of speech-language pathologists in the delivery of patient care Plan, develop, and implement speech therapy programs in accordance with healthcare regulations Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary Ensure that all team members are trained on the latest in SLP best practices and technologies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate speech therapy with overall patient care Maintain documentation of therapy services and outcomes in compliance with state and federal guidelines Manage departmental budgets and resources efficiently Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team of therapists In-depth knowledge of speech-language pathology practices and principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a dynamic environment Expertise in patient evaluation and performance improvement Proficient with healthcare IT systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current SLP License Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
