qualified Endoscopy RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29401! Pay
Information $2,533 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration:
12 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours
(0700-1530) Experience: Graduate of an accredited school or college
of nursing. BSN preferred. License: Currently licensed as a
Registered Nurse or holds a current compact/multi-state license as
a Registered Nurse in a recognized compact state. Certifications:
Current BLS for Healthcare Provider Card. ACLS required for
specific positions. Must-Have: - Knowledge of professional nursing
theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care. - Knowledge
of organizational policies and procedures to administer patient
care. - Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to
establish a safe work environment. - Skill in applying and
modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of professional
nursing to provide ongoing patient care. - Ability to analyze
situations and apply critical thinking. - Ability to communicate
clearly. - Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency
situations. - Skill in establishing and maintaining effective
working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
- Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions. - Skill
in preparing and maintaining records and writing reports.
Description: To provide nursing care for patients following
established standards and practices in accordance with the Nurse
Practice Act. To apply professional nursing theory and practice to
assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Frequent
standing, walking, bending, crouching, and stooping is required.
Frequent lifting and moving patients is necessary. Intermittent
lifting, moving or carrying, pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs may be
required. Frequent use of finger and hand dexterity is necessary.
Constant reaching with hands and arms is expected. Frequent talking
or hearing is required. Corrected hearing and vision to normal
range is necessary. Exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue is
common. Possible exposure to infectious materials, communicable
diseases, and other conditions typical in a healthcare environment
may occur. Ability to work under stressful conditions, deadlines,
or irregular hours is expected. Weekend or holiday work based on
