Job Description SummaryTo perform high-quality mammography images by the American College of Radiology (ACR) standards for interpretation by a physician. Requires sound understanding of anatomical position, radiographic technique, and ACR/MQSA regulatory guidelines. • Autonomously perform high quality mammograms for physician's interpretation in an environment that is respectful to others, adaptive to change and accountable for outcomes.
  
• Maintain detailed quality control records for DHEC/MQSA inspection and collaborate with vendors to schedule equipment maintenance.
  
• Support culture of safety in the workplace.
  
• Interact and communicate effectively with Breast Team and diverse patient populations in the community to reduce health disparities and barriers.
  
• Accurately schedule exams, complete workflows, and document events/occurrences in EPIC and Penrad.
  
• Identify improvement opportunities for the department/organization.
  Additional Job DescriptionEducation: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Work Experience: 0-2 years of independent mammography experienceCurrent registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in mammography. Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
