Associate Company: The Boeing Company The Payloads organization
within Boeing Commercial Aircraft 787 Program is seeking
experienced Safety and Airworthiness Support for a number of
different positions in North Charleston, South Carolina . The
Payloads Organization is responsible for everything you see when
you fly; and much of which you don’t. The Interiors of the
airplane, along with the cargo compartments, exterior markings,
associated systems, and cabin safety all make up Payloads. We are
how our airline customers fulfill their mission and represent their
brand and shape how the public experiences flight. Our organization
is a fast paced, dynamic environment, which pulls from many
engineering backgrounds. In this role, you will be responsible for
statement of work that spans the product lifecycle from engaging
with customer requests through supporting post-delivery changes.
Your work will include the need to interface with other members of
project engineering, production engineering, program/product teams,
management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering
solutions through the cabin safety certification processes. You
will be able to combine the expertise and resources of the
interiors organization to certify and deliver the best interiors
products within the industry. The ideal candidate will have
experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design
criteria and release, and experience working with technical
requirements or technical writing. Primary Responsibilities:
Assists to develop, gather and document basic technical data for
company products and system-level concepts in the projected
operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program
lifecycle. Assists with the application of systems engineering
processes, methodologies and tools to the design of basic system of
systems, systems and new product development. Work with design
engineers on showing compliance to the FAA regulations,
developing/using issue papers, equivalent level of safety etc.
Assists in the development of new design/analysis processes and
tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the
development effort. Work Authorization Statement: This position is
expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required
to work onsite at the North Charleston, SC location. Basic
Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): Associate’s degree or
higher. 1 year of related work experience Preferred Qualifications
(Desired Skills/Experience): 2 or more years' related work
experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
