Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. This opportunity is for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide impactful support within an elementary school setting in Isle of Palms, SC. This full-time, onsite position focuses on delivering tailored educational experiences to students with diverse learning needs, fostering their academic and social growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring special education services. Adapt classroom activities and materials to accommodate students with disabilities, with emphasis on those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress and address behavioral challenges. Monitor and document student performance and behavioral changes accurately. Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations. Qualifications and Experience: Active South Carolina state licensure for Special Education Teaching. Multi-Categorical Licensure preferred. Experience working with behaviors and/or students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) highly preferred. Strong understanding of instructional strategies tailored to special education. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
