Job Description Job Description Solid Rock Recruiting - 1 Specialty Recruiting Firm in the USA POSITION: Cladding/ACM/IMP Superintendent LOCATION: Charleston, South Carolina COMPANY OVERVIEW: Join a forward-thinking construction company specializing in exterior building envelope systems. We're seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee high-profile cladding projects in the growing Charleston market. POSITION SUMMARY: The Cladding Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing daily field operations, ensuring quality installation of ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) and IMP (Insulated Metal Panels) systems while maintaining safety standards and project timelines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supervise and coordinate field installation teams for ACM and IMP systems • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations • Review shop drawings and coordinate with Project Managers on technical details • Manage daily workforce planning and material logistics • Conduct quality control inspections throughout installation process • Coordinate with other trades and general contractor representatives • Maintain detailed daily reports and project documentation • Lead safety meetings and enforce safety protocols • Monitor and maintain project schedules • Mentor and develop field personnel REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in exterior cladding systems • Extensive knowledge of ACM and IMP installation methods and best practices • Strong understanding of building envelope systems and waterproofing • OSHA 30 certification • Proven track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget • Excellence in reading and interpreting construction documents • Strong leadership and communication skills • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience with major commercial projects • Knowledge of related trades (glazing, waterproofing, roofing) • Familiarity with digital construction management tools • Previous experience in the Southeast market BENEFITS: • Competitive base salary • Performance bonuses • Comprehensive health insurance • 401(k) with company match • Paid time off and holidays • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance • Mobile phone and laptop • Continuing education opportunities • Relocation assistance available PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights • Capable of walking job sites and standing for extended periods • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Work in various weather conditions WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Primary work location is on construction sites • Some office work required for meetings and documentation • May require occasional travel to other project sites This is a direct-hire position with excellent growth potential in a stable and expanding market.
