Job Description Job Description Now Hiring: Charter Coordinator Location: North Charleston, SC Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour At First Student , our Charter Coordinators help keep things running through booking all outside charter work, then efficiently distributing the work to the appropriate location. Key Responsibilities Increases Outside Charter Revenue. Assists in customer quoting and pricing. Distributes and dispatches the new work to the most appropriate branch or location. Increases customer base. Initializes marketing strategies. Determines, sets, and meets budget goals. Qualifications At least 3-5 years' experience High School Diploma required Industry experience Prior customer service experience Charter booking experience Computer experience a must School Bus transportation experience Incumbent must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office equipment; access filing system/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone. Little or no travel required, but meeting with local customers may be necessary.
