Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Savannah, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,055 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Stepdown Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: - Solid PCU skillset - Successful completion of at least one travel contract - Experience in telemetry - Ability to titrate drips Description: Candidate must have experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity. Candidates must pass a clinical resume review for consideration. The unit has a total of 12 beds. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4-5 depending on acuity. Common diagnoses include Med-Surg, Sickle Cell, and heart failure. The unit is a combination of Med-Surg and Stepdown. Registered Nurses are assigned as necessary. Nurses are required to pull their own labs. Charge nurses take on an assignment. Nurse aids are present with a ratio of 12:1. Common respiratory equipment includes nasal masks and BiPap. RNs are not required to read their own strips. Shifts allow for self-scheduling. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Holiday work is expected. There are no call or standby requirements. Float requirements are not applicable. Scrub color is navy. Unit-specific orientation includes basic skills assessment and two shifts with a preceptor. Charting is done through MEDITECH.
